Burton J. Whitcomb former Oxford man, brother of the late C. O Whitcomb died Friday, Aug 25, at his home in Saginaw, at the age of 90 years,

Mr. Whitcomb was born in Oakwood, Jun 6, 1860, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Whitcomb. He attended Oakwood and Oxford schools and was a school teacher and salesman, following his graduation from the University of Michigan in literary science. In Jun 1924 he was married to Nellie Angus in Saginaw where he had since resided.

Surviving are his widow and one son, Harold J. of Rockey River, Ohio.

Services were Sinday at 2:00 p.m. at the Mabley Chapel in Oxford. The Rev Wilbur Webber officiating with burial in Oxford Cemetery.
